At Maple Leaf Farm & Creamery, we believe making cheese is a way of life. Located in the heart of Northern Michigan, far away from the hustle and bustle of life, our goats live and eat on our 40-acre grass farm, producing delicious Grade A creamy milk to be turned into some of the finest cheese in Michigan.
We pride our self on producing a wide range of eclectic cheeses using our own farm grown ingredients such as herbs and honey produced right here on our farm. Varieties include Artisan goat cheese, Currently 10 flavors of Chevre’ including Sweet Cherry & Pecan, Garden Mix, and Garlic Lovers, as well as over 13 flavors of Feta including Garlic Herb, Cranberry & Orange Peel, Smoked Bacon, and our Tomato, Basil, Garlic and Pepper Corn Feta. Coming very soon we will be making a variety of aged cheeses, they will be introduced beginning around December.
We’ve opened our new licensed kitchen where we will be creating all kinds of baked goods and developing new products. We also will be dehydrating the herbs and veggies that we grow on-site to use in our cheese!
